Leeds Bradford Airport Security
In order to comply with government security requirements and in order to minimise the risk of being late for a flight, passengers are strongly advised to check-in at the airport at least 1 hour before a scheduled flight and 3 hours before a charter flight, and then to proceed through to the Departure Lounges at least 45 minutes before flight departure.
The information above should be used as a guide only and can change depending on destination and airline, for further information, please contact the handling agent as follows:
Aviance - for flights with bmi, Iberworld, Air Europa and BH Air on 0113 391 3383.
Servisair - for flights with all other airlines on 0113 250 3251.
In addition, in order to assist in passenger security screening, it is also strongly recommended that only a minimum amount of hand baggage should be carried, ideally a maximum of one piece of hand luggage per person with a maximum weight of 7 kgs, as are the current limits for most airlines. These bags should contain the minimum number of items, and no prohibited items such as sharp items (scissors, penknives etc.), to speed the security process.
