Airport informations
Exeter International Airport (IATA: EXT, ICAO: EGTE) is an international airport in the county of Devon, England. It is wholly owned and operated by Devon County Council, although a majority holding in the airport is currently for sale in order to fund greater expansion, which will include a new terminal. The Airport was constructed in 1937 at a cost of about £20,000. During WWII it was home to the Polish Airforce flying Hurricane aircraft in the defence of the Southwest from German aerial attack.
The runway is 08/26, and although there are two smaller runways, they are now disused.
